Why are partner links so important?
Search engines treat every inbound partner link as a weighted vote for your website. The better the site ranks for a specific keyword phrase, the more weight is given to the vote. Our SEO specialists rely on many sources for partner links including free directories and guides, relationships with other SEO specialists, and the sites currently being managed by the SEO specialist.
 
Why do I need Link Management Software?
The link management process includes many different functions and can be very time consuming.  Potential high-value link exchanges must be identified and the external webmasters must contacted.  Multiple Link and Resource pages must be carefully maintained and frequently updated to comply with SEO guidelines.  Back-links must be checked periodically to ensure they are still in place.  We created a software application that is easily installed into new and existing websites that handles the entire process.

bulletAutomated back-link verification process to ensure that back-links remain in place
bulletInvitation processing when new link exchanges are identified
bulletAll forms and message functions are protected with image verification to avoid automated submissions
bulletInstallation is done with a single page supplied by LinkMgr that is loaded into the domain

Step by Step - The LinkMgr Process
 
Link Submission (initiated by external webmaster)
  1. External webmaster submits a link for a specific LinkMgr managed domain
  2. Confirmation email is sent to the the external webmaster asking for verification of contact information
  3. Notification email is sent to domain administrator with external link details including reciprocal link location
  4. Domain administrator Activates or Denies the link submission
  5. Notification is sent to external webmaster through LinkMgr
  6. Reciprocal links are checked automatically by LinkMgr to ensure they remain in place.  Missing backlinks trigger and email to both the external webmaster and the domain administrator.
 
Link Invitation (initiated by domain administrator)
  1. Domain administrator identifies a prospective website and logs in to LinkMgr
  2. Domain administrator enters link information in appropriate category 
  3. Domain administrator sends an email invitation to the external webmaster through LinkMgr
  4. External webmaster accepts invitation and provides reciprocal link location or declines invitation
  5. Notification is sent to domain administrator
